Well that was anti-climatic. The Pistons just ran away with that one. Game started on a three-point play with Rip Hamilton and we never looked back. That's the type of Pistons basketball I'm used to seeing. The starters got some rest down the stretch and it's back to Detroit for Game one vs Orlando on Saturday.
Some notes:
- Hats off to the Sixers. They played a tough series the whole way through and Mo Cheeks cannot get enough credit with the job he did with that team this season.
- Tayshaun Prince continued his hot shooting -- 5 of 6 for 12 points. In the last three games Prince shot 24 of 32 from the field -- or 75%
- Pistons shot 58% from the field in the game. The Sixers -- 34%
- Andre Iguodala led the Sixers with 16 points on 4 of 7 shooting.
- The combination of Chauncey Billups and Rip Hamilton accounted for 44 points on 17 of 25 shooting
- Shockingly, a technical was given out and it wasn't on Rasheed Wallace. Iguodala picked up the tech for Philly.
