King James vs. Agent Zero: Round 1: Don't Poke The Sleeping Lion

The Washington Wizards and their fans found out the hard way this afternoon as the Fighting LeBron's took Game 1 93-86, powered by LeBron's 20 second half points and a floater in the lane with 55 seconds to go.

Gilbert "Agent Zero" Arenas had a strong first half hitting four three pointers, but missed two key shots down the stretch to tie the game and the rest of the team followed suit and sputtered down the stretch and let the game slip away.

The series is still very much in Washington's hands and the bad blood is evident between the two teams. Three technical fouls were called at the end of the first half after a minor scuffle involving LeBron and Brendan Haywood.

Before the series, Agent Zero took to the blogosphere and expressed his desire to play Cleveland.

Also, earlier this year, DeShawn Stevenson called LeBron "overrated." To which LeBron replied:

"With DeShawn Stevenson, it's kind of funny. It's almost like Jay-Z [responding to a negative comment] made by Soulja Boy. It doesn't make sense."

Stevenson has invited Soulja Boy to the first Wizards home game and Soulja Boy has accepted. Here's to hoping a Malace At The Palace type melee breaks out.

Report: Arenas to Miss 3 Months

Arenas had been experiencing swelling and soreness in the knee which he had surgically repaired late last season. After sitting out the past two games, Arenas underwent an MRI Wednesday morning. He underwent the surgery later in the afternoon.

Arenas thinks he reinjured the knee on Friday.

"Everything just started hurting after the game," Arenas said, according to the Washington Post. "The pain came out of nowhere."

Team officials say the surgery was a success and Arenas will begin rehabilitation soon.

"It's a downer because I really thought I was getting back," Arenas said, according to the Post. "It's a big setback but I guess I'll start all over again."

It looks like this may be a major setback for Agent Zero, who is able to opt out at the end of this year and could cost him millions of dollars.
