FLYERS BABY!

Flyers 3, Devils 0
All right! After a miserable year in 2006-2007, the Philadelphia Flyers are headed back to the playoffs. It's been an uneasy couple of months as the Flyers plummeted from 1st in the conference to 8th, thanks to a couple of lengthy losing streaks. But with the Flyers 3-0 win coupled with Carolina's 5-4 loss to Florida, they finally clinched a playoff spot. Now, the Flyers have one game left, and they could finish in 8th, 7th or 6th place. It is likely that the Flyers will play Pittsburgh in round one of the playoffs. They play each other on Sunday, and if the Flyers lose in regulation or OT, they will finish in the 8th spot, and the Penguins will clinch the #1 seed. If the Flyers win, and Montreal wins the Flyers will clinch the 7th seed and the Penguins will fall to #2. If the Flyers win and Montreal loses in regulation, the Penguins will clinch the #1 seed, the Flyers will finish in 7th and play Montreal. If the Flyers win and Boston loses, the Flyers will clinch the 6th seed and play Washington in the first round. Got all that? Good. If the Flyers play like they did until February, they will make a great run into the playoffs. GO PHILLY!
