Phillies Trade for Houston Closer Lidge

The Philadelphia Phillies have traded for former Astros closer Brad Lidge for OF Michael Bourn, pitchers Geoff Geary, and minor leaguer Mike Costanzo and received Eric Bruntlett in addtion to Lidge.

I personally don't see why the Phillies pulled the trigger on this deal because Lidge hasn't been the same since Albert Pujols blasted him deep to left in the playoffs a few years back. Plus I think that giving up Bourn was a mistake, I feel he had a lot of upside. I think this is a bad deal but we'll see next season.
