Well it is Saturday morning and if you're like myself, you're staring at your bracket with a lifeless stare wondering how it all went wrong. I'd also like to thank ESPN's Digger Phelps for taking his time out of touching Bob Knight to tell me that 24 out of about 3.5 million have a perfect bracket after the first two days of action.
Now I want someone to tell me who in their right mind picks Villanova, Siena, Davidson, San Diego, and Western Kentucky.
ALL ON THE SAME BRACKET!?!?!?!?!
This person.
That's who.
Only someone who has never heard of these teams or even remotely follows college basketball could pick all of those right. I'm curious how many people sat there and looked at the bracket and said. "Hmm, got a REAL good feeling about San Diego."
The only thing that could possibly pissed me off more was if Duke had lost and someone had taken Belmont on top of this. I may have had to jump into freeway traffic to avoid the pain.
Then you go and look at their scoreboard.
Digger Phelps must be living in Bizzaro World. There is no leader with a perfect bracket. The top guy on the leader board has Oregon and Winthrop. Who clearly are no longer in the dance.
But yes, this is a bracket round up. I am now posting both my Yahoo and Facebook brackets to try and prove I'm not missing a chromosome. This will likely end in double the humiliation.
