VAMOS!

Rafael Nadal FINALLY breaks through and wins Wimbledon in what is quite possibly the best final in Wimbledon history. Nadal raced out to a two sets to none lead, before a rain delay halted the third set. Roger Federer came out from the delay to take the third and fourth sets in tiebreakers, but Nadal came through in the fifth set, breaking Federer at 7-7 and then holding on for the win. The final score was 6-4 6-4 6-7(5) 6-7(8) 9-7. Nadal broke up Federer's bid for a sixth straight Wimbledon final and kept Federer without a Slam title so far in 2008. Federer has one last shot to win a Slam this season, otherwise it will be the first time since 2003 that Federer has not won at least one Slam title.

Yeah, Nadal! How cool was that walk across the scoreboard and reports booth to deliver the Spanish flag to the Prince?

It was awesome. The thing I like best about Nadal is that you can always tell what he's feeling. He's not afraid to get emotional and it makes him easier to relate to. The fact that he goes running for his family as soon as he wins is really cool too, it's not many champions you see that act like that. Roger's mastery of tennis was pretty amazing, but he always seemed to expect that his wins were inevitable and it made him aloof. Nadal's game today was just beautiful. I can't wait to watch the match again.
